Abstract

Abstract

In this paper, by moving from the supposition that to understand the philosophy of Deleuze it is essential to relate it to Kantian philosophical tradition, we have tried to make comprehensible the usage of transcendental in Deleuze. For that purpose, we concentrated on a less known post-Kantian philosopher Salomon Maimon and pursued her critique of Kant. First, we investigated how Maimon has criticized Kant in his Essay by going back to Leibniz. After that, we tried to understand how could this return to Leibniz affected the conception of transcendental in Deleuze’s philosophy.
